We are Lut and Manu, your hostess and host at De Zilveren Maan. What was once an old farmhouse, we transformed into a group accommodation where companies and teams of up to 22 people can spend a day or a few days together. Not a room in a hotel with ten other parties down the corridor, but a fully enclosed private estate that is entirely yours.
The location makes up for a lot. We are in Neeroeteren, close to Hoge Kempen National Park and the Duinengordel, right in the middle of the Limburg countryside yet still easy to reach. As soon as you drive onto the estate, the hustle and bustle of the office falls away. You notice it straight away in a group: people talk differently, think more freely, and the day naturally takes on a different rhythm.
Every team arrives with a different question, and the venue bends easily to fit. A strategy day often begins in the meeting room beneath the original roof timbers, with laptops closed after lunch and a walk into the woods to thrash out the decisions. A team building day, on the other hand, revolves around the shared living space with its long dining tables, the open kitchen with a cooking island, kamado and pizza oven, and outside the volleyball court and the campfire spot.
Those staying longer make use of the play loft, billiards, darts and table tennis to spend the evening together. The beauty of it is that no one has to drive anywhere: the group stays together, from the first coffee to the last conversation by the fire. That is exactly where the connection is forged that teams come here for.
