Our house is made for groups of 8 to 22 people. That makes it perfect for a big family celebrating a golden anniversary, but equally for a group of friends wanting to celebrate a birthday or a retirement together. There are 9 themed bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, so everyone has their own space.

Can we cook for the celebration ourselves or is catering possible?

Either is possible. There is a large open kitchen with a cooking island, a kamado and a pizza oven, so anyone who loves to cook has all the space they need. If you would rather simply sit at the table on your own special day, we can arrange catering on request. That way you decide how much time you spend in the kitchen and how much you spend celebrating.

Is the house accessible for older or less mobile guests?

A retirement or anniversary is something you celebrate only rarely, and when you do, you want the people who matter around you. At De Zilveren Maan, nobody has to get into the car after dessert. Everyone sleeps here, from the youngest nephew to the grandparents, so the gathering simply carries on late into the evening at the campfire spot and continues again over breakfast the next morning.

Our house is an old farm that we lovingly converted into a warm holiday home for 8 to 22 people. Nine themed rooms and eight bathrooms give every group plenty of space to be together and plenty of corners to retreat to for a while. Two rooms are wheelchair-friendly, so grandpa or grandma can join in comfortably too. We, Lut and Manu, will have everything ready for your arrival.

Around the long table

The heart of any anniversary is dining together. In the large communal living space, long dining tables seat the whole group, with an open kitchen and cooking island alongside. If you like to get stuck in yourself, bake a pizza in the pizza oven or grill on the kamado. Rather not be in the kitchen on your own celebration? Catering is available on request, so everything revolves around your guests and the glass being raised.

And then carry on a while longer

After dinner there is plenty to enjoy without anyone needing to leave the estate. There is a heated indoor pool open all year round and an outdoor pool heated from 1 May to 1 October, a sauna and wellness area to unwind, and a play loft with billiards, darts and table tennis for anyone with energy to spare. Outside, a volleyball court and a campfire spot await for the late hours.

The estate is fully enclosed and ecologically landscaped, peacefully set in the Limburg countryside close to Hoge Kempen National Park and the Duinengordel. So the children can roam freely while the adults carry on chatting, and during the day you can all take a walk through the woods together.
