A great weekend with friends depends on having the space to be together without getting under each other's feet. That is exactly what De Zilveren Maan was made for. Your group, from 8 to 22 people, gets the entire country house to yourselves: 9 themed bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and a large communal living area with long dining tables where everyone fits around the table.
The open kitchen with its cooking island is the beating heart of the weekend. A kamado and a pizza oven are ready and waiting, so whether you fancy low and slow barbecuing or baking pizzas into the small hours, it is all possible. We, Lut and Manu, make sure everything is ready when you arrive. That way the weekend starts just as it should.
Even if the weather doesn't play ball, a friends' weekend works perfectly here. The heated indoor pool is available all year round, so your first dip doesn't depend on the outside temperature. If the sun makes an appearance, the group moves to the heated outdoor pool in the garden. And anyone who really wants some peace and quiet can retreat to the sauna.
Up in the play loft, the pool table, darts and table tennis are ready for the eternal friendly rivalry. Outside, there's a volleyball court and a campfire spot, ideal for rounding off the evening with a drink under the stars. The grounds are fully enclosed and ecologically landscaped, peacefully situated close to Hoge Kempen National Park and the Duinengordel. If you fancy stretching your legs in between, you can walk or cycle straight into the Limburg countryside.
You don't need to plan anything to have a good time. Everything is already here: the water, the games, the table and the fire. The only question left is who jumps into the pool first.
